HEAVY EMPHASIS ON CHILDREN AT SATURDAY’S PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY PASSCAR OPENER!
(Perris, CA, April 16, 2019)
When the PASSCAR Stock Car Series and IMCA Modifieds finally kick off the 2019 season this Saturday night, April 20th, at Perris Auto Speedway, there will be a heavy emphasis on the children in the grandstands. At intermission, children will be allowed onto the racetrack to collect Easter candy and meet all the drivers. And, the first 20 kids to sign up will be matched up with a driver in the Modified main event. At the conclusion of that main, the child matched up with the winning driver will receive a trophy and pose for a photo with the winner on the track. Spectator gates will open at 5:00 P.M. and the first race will begin at 7:00.

RICHARD VANDER WEERD TOPS PERRIS “SOKOLA SHOOTOUT”
PERRIS, CA – APRIL 13, 2019…
Inheriting the lead on lap seventeen, Richard Vander Weerd (Visalia, CA) powered to his first win of the season at Perris Auto Speedway. Driving the family owned #10 Vander Weerd Construction / Stone Gate Development Maxim, Vander Weerd earned his eighth career AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car triumph at the annual “Sokola Shootout.” R.J. Johnson, point leader Brody Roa, A.J. Bender, and fast qualifier “The Demon” Damion Gardner followed the 2011 USAC West Coast Sprint Car champion.
   
LOTS OF EXCITEMENT ABOUT USAC/CRA SERIES AS SPRINT CARS RETURN TO PERRIS!
(Perris, CA, April 10, 2019) The #1 sprint car series west of the Mississippi, the Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series, returns to Perris Auto Speedway this Saturday night, April 13th, for the annual Sokola Shootout. The race salutes original CRA car owner and series president Gary Sokola and his son Mark. This year’s edition of the event comes with renewed enthusiasm in the series and an old school feeling to the racing. Spectator gates will open at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday and the first race will be at 7:00.

PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY EMBRACES THE PROPOSED GREEN NEW DEAL!
(Perris, CA, April 1, 2019) Perris Auto Speedway Promoter Don Kazarian has announced that the famous Riverside County half-mile clay oval is all on board with the proposed Green New Deal. The track will be implementing several exciting changes including solar-powered racecars. The transition to the new powerplants is expected for competitors in all classes beginning this month.

– Aaron Reutzel wrote an eloquent ending to the eventful and riveting story of the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series’ California swing, ending it Saturday night in similar fashion to how it began.
   
BRODY ROA SPRINTS TO “SO-CAL SHOWDOWN” TRIUMPH AT PERRIS
Perris, California… After taking the lead from R.J. Johnson on lap 16, Brody Roa held off all challengers to become the third different driver in as many races to claim an AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car triumph in 2019. Racing the BR Performance #91R HD Industries / Burris Racing Maxim, Roa topped the “So-Cal Showdown” at Perris Auto Speedway over fast qualifier Richard Vander Weerd, “The Big Game Hunter” Austin Williams, Austin Liggett, and Stevie Sussex.
