Photo courtesy of Doug Allen RACING RETURNS TO PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY ON OCTOBER 5th By Scott Daloisio (Perris, CA, September 23, 2024) Perris Auto Speedway is taking this Saturday night off. Racing will return to the famous Riverside County half-mile clay oval on October 5th, when LKQ Pick Your Part presents Night of Destruction. In addition to the wild Night of Destruction action on October 5th, driver Lonnie Skillman of Riverside will be raffling off his double-decker car with the proceeds being donated to the American Cancer Society. Tickets will still be available in the stands and in the pits at the track on the fifth. After the October 5th date, there will still be two events left on the 2024 schedule. The first will come on October 26th when LKQ Pick Your Part presents the last Night of Destruction of the year. The track will close its 29th season on November 9th with the finales of the Avanti Windows and Doors USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series, GAS Chassis Young Guns, PAS Senior Sprints, and Jerry Dodd’s Championship Night for the PASSCAR Super Stocks, Street Stocks and American Factory Stocks. Advance tickets for all Perris Auto Speedway shows are available 24 hours a day online at https://www.tix.com/ticket-sales/pas/7 or by calling 1-800-595-4849. Plenty of tickets will be available at the ticket window every race night for fans who do not wish to purchase in advance. The PAS is conveniently located on the freeway close Lake Perris Fairgrounds, home of the Southern California Fair, in nearby Riverside County. Take the 215 freeway.
