PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY TO PAY MODIFIED & SUPER STOCK WINNERS $1,500, STREET STOCKS $1,000 AND FACTORY STOCKS $500 IN 2021! By Scott Daloisio (Perris, CA, March 24, 2021) Prior to the 2020 racing season at Perris Auto Speedway being canceled by the Covid crisis, promoter Don Kazarian had announced that an anonymous sponsor had stepped forward and guaranteed that the winner’s purse for every PASSCAR Super Stock, Street Stock and IMCA Modified main event would be $1,000.00. On Tuesday, he revealed news that the same anonymous donor has upped the ante and the Super Stocks and Modifieds would now receive $1,500.00 to win at each race in 2021. In addition to the increased purses for the Super Stocks and Modifieds, the Street Stocks will still get $1,000.00 per win. And, for the first time, the Factory Stocks will be racing for a purse that includes $500.00 to win. All the main events will be 25-laps. There is one exception to the winner’s purses listed, and the lap count. That will come at the track’s “25th Anniversary Fan Appreciation Night” on October 16th. On that night, all classes will be racing for 30-laps. The Super Stocks, Street Stocks and Modifieds will be racing for $2,500.00 to win and the Factory Stocks will be competing for a $1,000.00 winner’s check. At the end of the season, the champion in the Super Stock class will take home a $2,000.00 bonus while the three other champions will each take home $1,000.00. “I am pleased to announce when the PASSCAR Series returns to action in 2021, the winners of each class will walk away with the following no matter what the car count is per class,” Kazarian said on Tuesday. “American Factory Stocks - $500 to Win Street Stocks - $1,000 to Win Super Stocks - $1,500 to Win IMCA Modifieds - $1,500 to Win.
