  CITY OF PERRIS RESIDENTS FREE SATURDAY AT PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY!

 (Perris, CA, June 27, 2017) Residents of Perris will be admitted free this Saturday night, July 1st, when the City of Perris presents the annual Independence Day Fireworks Sky Concert and LKQ Pick Your Part presents Night of Destruction #4 at Perris Auto Speedway. Spectator gates will open one hour earlier than normal at 4:00 PM. Opening ceremonies will be at 6:45 and the first crash at the “Craziest Show on Dirt” will be at 7:05.

The Independence Day program has been one of the most popular dates at the Riverside County racing facility since the Kazarian family first opened the speed plant in 1996. However, this year’s show will have a different flavor. Normally a sprint car show, Saturday will mark the debut of Night of Destruction at the annual event. In addition to the great Fireworks Sky Concert, fans will be treated to crazy Democross racing, Figure 8 races, a Figure 8 Trailer race, Formula-X Autocross & CrossKarts and Spectator racing.

“For years we have exposed the locals who come out once a year for the fireworks show to sprint car racing,” promoter Don Kazarian said. “By making Night of Destruction part of the Independence Day show, they are going to see something they may not know we have at The PAS. So, we hope everyone from Perris shows up for a free night of fun. The competitors have been very excited about this night since we first released the schedule last November and so are the fans. It is going to be one crazy, fun event.”

The City of Perris is inviting all its residents to attend the event for free. All they have to do is prove their residency by showing a valid driver’s license or a utility bill with a Perris address and they will receive up to four free tickets. All guests must be present the day of the show. Tickets for Perris residents are only available at the track the day of the event.

In addition to the racing and fireworks, early arriving fans will have plenty to do. There will be music, contests for the children to participate in with the drivers and an on-track autograph and photo session before racing begins. The “Hollywood Legend,” Pink’s Hot Dogs, will also be on hand with their tummy pleasing menu.

Reserved seats for Saturday’s extravaganza are $25.00 for adults and $10.00 for children. General admission tickets are $15.00 adults, $5.00 for active military members with proper id, teens 13-18 with their school id and kids 6-12. Children 5 and under are free. Parking on the fairgrounds is $8.00.

Perris Auto Speedway is located on the Lake Perris Fairgrounds (home of October’s Southern California Fair), approximately one-hour east of Los Angeles and one-hour North of San Diego. To get to the track, take the 215 freeway, exit on the Ramona Expressway and go three miles east to the fairgrounds.
