PAS YOUNG GUN SPRINT CARS: In
2013, Perris Auto Speedway
Promoter Don Kazarian announced a
brand new sprint car division
tailored towards grooming young
drivers for a career in racing.
The division is comprised of
drivers from 14-25 years of age in
cars powered by cast iron block
360 engines and restricted
aluminum 410s.
In
addition to grooming drivers to
move into the USAC/CRA Series in
the future, it will also allow
drivers to gain confidence racing
against other drivers of the same
ability.
